If you can dig up some info, that would be nice. I might've seen this before leaving Japan, but it was prohibitvely expensive. I could be totally wrong though. I would like to hear more about it.Recap wrote:Sushi Bar. It is said to be a superlative puzzle game
Probably would if I had more people to play them with.DB and RF 1 & 2, there's nothing on Atomiswave really interesting. And there won't be if you don't like fighting games, it seems.
Well that really sucks. Wonder how they justify that. Maybe w/ all this hardware not supporting low res the filters might actually get better at emulating it.EDIT: Forgot that SNK-P announced Metal Slug 6 for this platform back in 2004. Fake low res for it, I'm afraid.
Those boards are prohibitively expensive. I had for a while Cannon Dancer, and even it ran 16,000 yen. A good game, but I wouldn't replay it enough to warrant the high cost. The other DE 32-bit boards are even pricier.EDIT 2: What about ignoring AW and taking the Data East 32-bit route?

Hmm. I thought I had saved one video of it once but now I can't find it. From what I remember, neat 3D presentation with nice characters and Panic Bomber-style gameplay (don't quote me on that, thoe). Someone at Fanitsu got to play it and liked it much, describing how it worked (or was it at IC?). http://www.system16.com/other/hrdw_atomiswave.html#sbGaijin Punch wrote: If you can dig up some info, that would be nice. That was just my speculation, but the odd thing would be that they used true hi res this time. Coliseum, SS Tenkaichi Budokai, KOF NW, KIX... too many references now to see that SNK-P doesn't have any intention to do it ever. And the truth is that the AW does support true low res modes since it's DC-based, but seems that the industry wants to move to 31 kHz monitors as the only standard.Well that really sucks. 16,000 yen for Cannon Dancer is not much. It's a pretty special game. What about the Taiwanese PGM, then? Some of the Sangoku Senki games should be cheap now. Those boards are prohibitively expensive. Interesting... I'll have to look into that.Recap wrote:. Someone at Fanitsu got to play it and liked it much, describing how it worked (or was it at IC?).
I have one, and have a couple of games, which is what's preventing me from making the AW plunge. I do have a Sangoku Senki which I got pretty cheap. What about the Taiwanese PGM, then? Some of the Sangoku Senki games should be cheap now.

. Heavy Smash looks cool,is that an Amigas Speedball-like ? World Cup Volleyball '95 sounds great too, the only two arcade Volley Ball games i've ever played were Winning Spike and V system's Super Volleyball serie.
