That's EXACTLY what I was aiming for. :) He glad you like it. I think I did a pretty good job. I'm still a bit back-and-forth on the forums logo. I think I did a bang-up job on the character... the logo seems a bit flat to me, but whad're ya gonna do? I need the logo to be just as long as the forums to look symmectrical.

*looks up* ... hmmmmm...you could add a drop shadow to the logo to give it depth, or maybe slide the fade effect to the right so that the letters pop a bit more... maybe put a character with a bit more red on the right... :D

Great new look. More friendly too. I'd agree that a few spattering of red would help it look even better.

I think I'm going to play wi the logo(s) a bit. I'll see if I can't spice it up a bit more, although I wouldn't hold my breath on any red. :)

Hehe. I figured as much. I'm actually toying with some stuff, so we'll see what comes in the next couple of weeks. There's some content changes I want to make first.

If it's okay with you, I could play with the logo a little.. I love using Photoshop-if you couldn't tell already. :D

Knock yourself out, but it's unlikely I'll do anything with it. 1) I've got some ideas for another one 2) I'm thinking of making the top menu flash 3) I'm really picky. :)

If I knew that, then the logo would be perfect. :D That's my main problem as well -- I usually just gooof around until I get something I like. Once I get some coding and material adding stuff done, I'm going to spend some time on a new one. I've got a good idea if I can dig up (and cut out) the graphic... just need to pleay w/ it a little.

Sorry man, busy as shit around here. Have yet to tackle any of the stuff I've wanted to, except for the Yahoo Japan Auction assistant. (And that even digressed a little bit). It comes in waves... just hang tight. :)

The new look is great, but why did you remove the rarity info?

It was just a stupid coding error that I've not gotten around to fixing. Maybe I'll do that today. :) EDIT: Done

Hi, I've got a little question. I'm rebuilding my own fansite at the moment, which also deals with lesser known Japanese games. Now, I would like to put a link up to Japanese Gaming in my link section, but I can't seem to find any link banners. So I slightly modified the image of the top banner to use as a link. I just want to ask for aproval to use this on my site as a link. You can see it here: Image If you have a better one that you'd prefer I use, please let me know. Thanks. :D

You know, I started to work on a banner a few times, and never got around to it. I'll try to get one sorted out soon. My wife is away, so might have some time this week. Is your site up yet? Send me the URL and I"ll put it in the links section!

Ah, that's good to hear. :D For the time being, I'll just put up this one. My site is up, but not fully completed. Well it's never going to be complete, but you know what I mean... I'm still working on certain parts. I consider it complete when I can finally start working on reviews again without having to keep in mind various design issues. The url is http://users.pandora.be/twin-dreams/ Hope you like it enough so you're not embarrassed to link to me. ;) Let me know what you think, ok? BTW I might be able to contribute scans of certain games if you're looking for them. I'm just not sure which to look up and which not. Let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Kewl -- I'll link it next update. I get 404's for all the reviews though -- I guess you're still working on those, eh? Good luck!

Thanks. :D I probably should have mentioned it before. the only review section that's up right now is the PSone section. All those review pages for PSone games should be opperational. The last 3 don't have screens or artwork yet though. Perhaps you visited when I was changing the links on those pages..... Somehow the menu bar didn't link to the PC-Engine page, but that's fixed now. Luckily I have several reviews that I did on for first site I made, so there should actually be a bit of content on the site from the start. :) I'm working on the Gomola Speed review and finishing those last 3 PSone reviews right now. The other ones like saturn/PS2/MD are placeholders right now. It's probably a bit early to go public, but I'm planning on having everythin ready to go within the next couple of weeks.

Well it has taken a bit longer than I expected, due to various circumstances. But the site is finally ready. :) You wouldn't happen to have that link graphic lying around somewhere? Cause I can't seem to find it. So I'm still using the old one for now. Hope you like it.
