Many, many moons ago I posted the Phantasy Star Memorial Book & CD, and stated that it was the holy grail amongst Phantasy Star items. Well, it was... for a while anyway. That is, until this puppy found it's way into my greedy paws. Not to be confused with the Saturn compilation of the same name, this relatively thin book which gives a brief background on the characters and stories, and has some nice artwork to boot, apparently had a small print, as I've not been able to find it on most book stores catalogues. This is the only one I've ever seen, unlike the Memorial Book which I saw 4-5 times before finally lifting. Perhaps a bigger Phantasy Star buff could shed some light, but I don't believe either of the above two pictures have been printed elsewhere (hence, the watermark).

The first illustration is obviously Arisa, and the other is of some of the females in the series (oddly enough, that picture was in the PSII portion of the book, but doesn't include Nei). There are a few others, including a nice full-page illustration of Lutz, and a two-page compliation of the PSIII cast. Some of the artwork is very official, like the portrait of Arisa by Rie Kodama, but some of the other stuff is definitely from a 3rd party. Perhaps one day I'll scan some more and post, but for now, this should keep everyone busy.
